And the Winner is…
Cantate Choir from Sevenoaks..
Thanks to all the choirs who performed at the final of Top Choir Kent 2014 on Saturday 12th April. As David Flood, chairman of judges said, he could have awarded six prizes because the standard was so high but a special well done to Cantate from Sevenoaks on lifting the TCK trophy.
Thanks to the audience too. Your enjoyment and encouragement certainly gave all the choirs a boost.
The other competing choirs were: Elham Valley Voices (Elham), The Mission Gospel Choir (Folkestone), Phoenix Performing Arts Musical Theatre Choir (Canterbury), Tongswood Chamber Choir (Hawkhurst), The Wealden Consort (Hawkhurst)
Plus there was a special guest appearance by the P&O Ferries Choir, winners of BBC TV’s Sing While You Work series. |
