Rotary Young Chef Competition – local & district level

Working together with the Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise, our club has previously hosted local & district heats of Rotary’s Young Chef Competition, which is open to youngsters aged 11-17 years.

This is part of a national competition overseen by Rotary in Great Britain & Ireland. This is not as yet a regular event for us, but please do get in touch if you would like to know more about it.

About the national competition

The Rotary Young Chef competition, sponsored by Filippo Berio, gives entrants the chance to put their culinary skills to the test and be judged at the final by leading industry professionals.

Entrants plan and cook a three course meal, develop their food presentation skills and gain experience in high pressure situations. You can find out more from the Rotary Great Britain & Ireland site here.

Local heats

Previous competitions have taken place at Archbishops School in Canterbury.
