Volunteer’s Week 2023

Did you know that this week (1-7 June) is Volunteers’ Week? The event, which takes every year, is a great chance to recognise the amazing work that volunteers do around the country.

Rotary is one of many organisations around the country that relies on volunteers – and thanks to these volunteer members our club is able to do all sorts of things. For instance, we’ve helped local schools and colleges with mock interviews, we’ve helped local charity groups raise funds, we’ve run some great competitions for youngsters and we’ve helped take youngsters on outings. Of course we’re out there with varying fundraising activities of our own – not least our Annual Duck Race which proves to be a fun family event that is looked forward to by many members of our community.

Ever thought of joining us? Just get in touch and we’ll be happy to tell you more about us!
