Top Choir Kent Festival of Singing 2017 – Do You Hear The People Sing?

This year’s preparations for Top Choir Kent (2017) are well underway!

The event is a glittering showcase featuring some of the best amateur choirs in Kent. It will take place on Saturday 8 April at the Shirley Hall in Canterbury. The concert will start at 7.30pm with ‘Songs from the Shows’ as the theme. The programme will range from Les Miserables to Gilbert and Sullivan, taking in songs from Mary Poppins, Oliver – and many more – along the way.

As ever the choirs participating span the breadth of Kent. Previous finalists, The Elham Valley Voices, along with newcomers, Monday Music, and the Simon Langton Boys Grammar Chamber Choir are from Canterbury. The Kentones – last year’s winners, and previous entrants, Just Voices, hail from Bromley and the Pharos Chamber Choir come from Dover.
