Top Choir Kent 2014

One of the Rotary Club of Canterbury’s main fund-raising events is the annual Top Choir Kent festival of singing (for more details on Top Choir Kent itself, click here to be taken to our sister website).

Thanks to generous sponsorship the Top Choir Kent 2014 event has raised in excess of £8,000 for charity.  This fantastic sum is made up of around £7,000 from the event itself and an amazing £1,400 from a retiring  ‘bucket collection’ in aid of the Demelza Childrens Hospice at Sittingbourne.

Whilst two of the event’s objectives are to raise money for charitable causes and to support singing in the community, a third objective is for members of the Rotary Club of Canterbury to enjoy fellowship setting-up and running the event.  Below is a selection of pictures mainly by Peter Hermitage (unless Guy Gardener; “GG” or Martin Ward; “MW”- where stated) of club members involved in the event.  For pictures of the performance itself, click here for the Gallery section of the Top Choir Kent website.
