Birthday celebrations with Mrs Aylesbury

One of our Club’s Past Presidents Mike Talbot celebrated his birthday recently by finally receiving his award for winning the “Name the Duck” competition.

The “Name the Duck” competition took place last year, before our duck race … and the name “Mrs Aylesbury” was selected by President Sharon as the most apposite name. (The competition raised £88 for President Sharon Jordan’s charities – the two main ones for her Presidential year being the SCAT Bone Cancer Trust and the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance).

Mrs Aylesbury’s lovely daughter (who remains nameless) presented the prize. Mike also backed the winner of the Grand National that day so it seems he was really on a roll!

Quacking stuff!
