Celebrating the fact we have 100 Instagram followers!

Children often say “a little and a little and a little more adds up to a LOT” – and that’s how we feel about the gradual increase in the number of followers of our new Instagram account.

For us, social media isn’t just about likes – it’s about connecting with communities. Aside from our website, we have three platforms via which we can connect with others – Facebook, Twitter and now Instagram. Each of these has slightly different demographics, which means through each we reach slightly different audiences.

Not only do these platforms help promote our Club and its activities, and Rotary in general, but they also help us raise awareness about some of the great charities that we’ve supported. We’re also able to connect with Rotary clubs around the world – this may give us inspiration for new fundraisers, community activities or ways that we can help different groups of people, such as youngsters.

Rotarians aim to serve the community – and a core part of that is connecting with the community. If you’re not following us yet, why not give it a go?
