Cheque handover to Prince of Wales Youth Club

We’ve previously reported that on the 25 May a successful boxing evening was staged at the Prince of Wales Youth Club to raise funds and encourage the growing Boxing Academy at the Club.

Over £5,000 was raised that was divided between the Youth Club and the Rotary Club of Canterbury. On 5 July, Past President Peter Hermitage presented a cheque for £2568.31 to Joey Wicks and Kevin Place.

Plans are being made to stage another boxing event in the autumn.
