It’s Poppy Appeal time again!

Over the years our Club has raised over £40,000 for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal – and we are out again this year helping the Legion with its collection in Canterbury.

Last year our Club raised over £3,500 for the appeal. It’s always lovely to see the generosity from the public, so thank you to all who donate to the cause. We do appreciate that not everyone can donate – but it’s nice to get a smile on a dull day, even if a donation isn’t possible.

(If you would like to donate but are unable to do so in person, you can donate direct to the Royal British Legion online here (where you can also learn more about them.)

We will be collecting at various times in and around Canterbury City Centre – and also at some times at Tesco – in the build up to Remembrance Sunday. This year we are very pleased to also be being joined in our collections by members of the Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise for the first time. On Remembrance Sunday (13th November 2022) our Club President, Tony Loughran, will be laying a wreath on behalf of the three Canterbury Rotary Clubs.
