Supporting the poppy appeal 2019

Once again our members have been out and about in Canterbury supporting the Royal British Legion’s Poppy appeal by selling poppies.

This is a regular activity for us, and we always have several members helping with this cause. It’s lovely when members of the public come up and tell us about their own support for the appeal and often tell us about their own family members’ involvement with the services. We hope to have an update in the next few months telling you how much we raised for the appeal. Last year we raised almost £2,500. Many thanks to all who support us.
