Duck Race story in the Kentish Gazette

The Kentish Gazette, our local newspaper, has printed a lovely piece about our duck race. That’s great, as it means more people learn about the race and hopefully will turn up next year! We did have fun!

If you haven’t seen a copy, we are on p24 – the picture here is probably too small to see.

For Rotary Clubs like us (and other voluntary organizations), support from the local press is very helpful as it spreads word about our activities among the local community. It also helps raise the visibility of Rotary and our Club, so we’re very grateful for the coverage.

Thank you once again to all who came to the duck race, and to those who agreed to be photographed for our publicity.
