John Paul Ekins at the Royal Albert Hall

Rotarians and many others will recall a 2014 piano recital by John Paul Ekins which we’d sponsored (following on from Rtn Gill Dixon initially hearing him perform).

At the time John was a rising young London-based pianist, promoting successive years’ recitals/master classes with the music department students at Canterbury’s Christ Church University.

We have followed his rapidly growing national and international career and it’s wonderful to see from his website that for a second year he’s been invited to perform at one of the November concerts in the Royal Albert Hall, playing the Warsaw Concerto.

We wish John continued success and look forward to further updates in the future.
