Funds to Catching Lives for window refurbishment

Earlier today members of our Club’s Community Service Committee handed over a cheque for £800 to James Duff, a Trustee of Catching Lives, for much needed window refurbishment.

Catching Lives is a local, independent charity aimed at supporting the rough sleepers, homeless and vulnerably housed in Canterbury and East Kent. Their headquarters in 11 Station Road East provides essential support for our homeless community with daily breakfast, showering and laundry facilities. Internet is available to help with searching for employment and a common room is available for socialising. Canterbury Rotary Club regularly supports projects at 11 Station Road. The £800 we have donated will fund the replacement of two rotting sets of windows in the part of the building owned freehold by the Trust.

See the Catching Lives website for more details about the charity: https://www.catchinglives.org/
