Supporting Canterbury Food Bank’s Reverse Calendar Appeal

Several of our members were delighted to go along to Canterbury Food Bank with some of the donations to Canterbury Food Bank’s Reverse Calendar Appeal.

If you don’t know about the Food Bank’s Reverse Calendar you can find out all about it from the Food Bank’s website. Basically, during November the Food Bank asked individuals and groups to collect items listed on their Reverse Calendar poster. Items include tinned tuna, toothpaste and pasta sauce. As the Food Bank states, the reverse advent scheme is “a chance to make a huge difference to local families”.

The Food Bank is still collecting the donations – see the Food Bank’s Facebook page for latest details.
