Duck Race 2019 – save the date!

Yes, it’s that EGGS-citing time of year again when we announce the Rotary Club of Canterbury’s Annual Duck Race! Come along with all your friends & family on Sunday 15th September to Westgate Gardens, Canterbury – *SAVE THE DATE*

The event is now in its 19th year. It’s great fun for all the family, old and young. More ducks than ever before will be taking part this year – why don’t you enter into the spirit of the event and wear something bright yellow?
Don’t forget to sponsor a duck (or few) beforehand to cheer on – all the money we raise goes to great local and international causes. We’ll be giving updates on when and where you can sponsor ducks and details of prize money soon.
As usual, we’ll also have red corporate ducks too – contact us by email at info@rotarycanterbury.org.uk if your company wants to take part. We’d also love to hear from companies wanting to sponsor this fun community event.
As usual, we hope to have the wonderful Canterbury Lifesaving Club in the waters, guiding stray ducks back on to the route.

Sunday 15th September at Westgate Gardens, Canterbury. The event will open at 11am; weather and conditions allowing, the race will start at 1pm. Finish times depend on conditions on the day.
