2023 Annual Charity Duck Race details

Quack quack it’s back! We are delighted to share details of this year’s Annual Charity Duck Race to be held at Canterbury’s Westgate Gardens on Sunday 10th September 2023. Come along with all your family & friends for an event full of fun & puns!

The popular, family-friendly Rotary Club of Canterbury Duck Race will be held at 1pm on Sunday 10th September 2023 at Westgate Gardens (near Westgate Towers).

As usual, thousands of ducks will be launched into the River Stour from the bridge by Toddlers Cove and will “swim” towards the entrance to Westgate Gardens.

Individuals can sponsor ducks for £1 each (details of where below). The sponsor of the winning duck (first under the bridge) will get £250, the second place £100, third place £50. Winner of the fourth place will win a voucher.

All profits from the Rotary Duck Race will go to local and international causes supported by the Rotary Club of Canterbury.

We look forward to seeing you at our sponsorship stalls (details below)!
