Donations to Aquabox and ShelterBox – helping those in hardship

Aquabox and ShelterBox are two remarkable organisations helping those in need around the world, so we are pleased to say that our International Committee has agreed to two donations of £600 and £650 respectively to these charities.

For those who have not heard of these charities before – Aquabox “provides safe drinking water and humanitarian aid to people affected by natural disasters, extreme weather and conflicts”. It is also a Rotary Partner Charity. Meanwhile, ShelterBox provides “shelter, essential items and technical assistance to help some of the world’s most vulnerable people recover and rebuild their homes after disaster.”

You can find out more about Aquabox from its website.
