Donation to Aquabox: Thanks received!

We were very pleased to receive a letter of thanks from Aquabox for our donation earlier this year of £600 towards their work around the world, providing safe drinking water and humanitarian aid to people affected by natural disasters, extreme weather and conflicts.

From the letter we understand that our donation is enough to provide 4 Aqua-aid boxes, each of which contains a water filter and other practical items “to assist a family to survive in the aftermath of disaster”. £600 is also enough to fund 2 Community Filters which help supply clean water to hospitals or schools.

Many readers will not know that Aquabox was originally established in 1992 by the Winkworth Rotary Club.

You can read more about Aquabox here.
