Donation towards telemedicine and initiatives helping women and children in Ukraine

We were very pleased as a Club to donate £250 towards funds that our Rotary District (1120) is trying to raise to help the people of Ukraine.

Our Club and other clubs in the District were contacted by Francis Hodge, the current District International Service Lead, with a request to help support two Ukraine-related causes. The first is a new charity called “Practice Innovators International” (PII) which is a Ukraine-wide telemedicine programme providing medical advice and clinical support in the country. The second cause is the Rotary Club of Kharkiv Nadiya, which has three notable disaster response initiatives focussed on supporting women and children.

You can read more about PII here, and learn more about the Rotary Club of Kharkiv Nadiya here.
