New role for Roger: Volunteer District Fundraiser

We are very pleased that one of our newer members, Rtn Roger Hickman, will be helping our Rotary District as a voluntary fundraiser.

Rotarians and many other readers will know that Rotary clubs around the country are divided up into districts. Ours is Rotary South East (UK) & Gibralter (District 1120), and our District Governor is Ray Seager. Aside from various District activities, over recent years our District has raised funds for Ukraine, Turkey, Haiti and End Polio Now.

Asked about his new role, Roger said: “I’m very excited about it and look forward to working with Rotarians in our District to help them in their fundraising efforts. We’re already planning to hold an event early next year involving all the clubs – watch this space!”

We wish Roger well in his new role.
