Coverage in CommunityAd!

Once again, we are delighted to see that local magazine Communit Ad has given us a 2-page spread. That means around 23,000 homes in the local community will have the chance to find out about our activities.

The article in the latest issue gives coverage to the two competitions that our Club ran earlier this year through our vocational committee in association with Canterbury Christ Church University – the Innovation Competition and the “Dear Future Self” Competition. Both competitions were run in order to give youngsters something fun to do – with great prizes – at a time when many were finding it hard to have something positive to be involved with.

(The Innovation Competition winners were: 1st, Ellis, Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys; joint 2nd, Neave, Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, and Wilf, Simon Langton Boys; 3rd Charles, Simon Langton Boys. The “Dear Future Self” Competition winners were: 1st, Morgane from Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Faversham; 2nd, Lily R and 3rd, Jodie – both also from Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Faversham.)

We received a picture of one of the competition winners a little too late for inclusion in the article, but you can see it reproduced above.

Look out for the latest issue of CommunityAd. If you don’t receive a copy through the post, you can always see the online version in the local CommunityAd archive by clicking here. See issue 34, pg 16 & 17 for the latest article.
