Anonymous donation helps us support four local causes

A generous donation to our Club has helped us support four local causes – just in time for Christmas!

We’re very grateful to the donor who kindly gave £1,000 in total to Trustees of our charity account. This generosity has allowed us to send off four cheques of £250 each to causes that we feel  make a difference in our local community: Porchlight (Kent’s largest charity for homeless and vulnerable people), Catching Lives (which supports people who are sleeping rough, the hidden homeless and insecurely housed in Canterbury & East Kent), Rising Sun Domestic Violence & Abuse Charity (which provides services for women, children and families who are affected by domestic violence) and Thanington Neighbourhood Resource Centre (which helps support the community in Thanington, on the outskirts of Canterbury).

We hope that the donation is a reflection of our hard work and committment to our community.
