We’ve had a couple of lunches at the Alma in the past (see here and here for articles on previous gatherings), but on this occasion there was no speaker or club business – just a chance for everyone to savour a tasty and filling meal and enjoy a good time together.
The “meeting” ended with President Rosemary Doyle thanking the staff (who did a stellar job) and all those that attended the lively meal.
As well as all the work we put into raising funds or supporting various local and international causes, it’s social gatherings like this that nurture friendships and keep our club vibrant.
Have you ever wanted to use your skills and networks to do good in the local and international community, all while building great and lasting friendships? If so, why not consider joining us? There’s always the option of becoming a “Friend” of our club first to get to know what it’s like to be part of Rotary.
