Rotary Christmas Dinner 2012

The Club held its annual Christmas Dinner at Darwin College, University of Kent on Tuesday December 11th.  Around 120 people assembled in the Conference Centre to enjoy a pre-dinner drink before the event, hosted by Rtn President Robert Boyd-Howell and, as usual, impeccably organised by Rtn Roger Power.

Grace was said by Rtn Alastair Scott and a delicious Dinner was served.

The duo of “Colin and Philip” entertained us with a range of songs, some slightly scurrilous but all amusing.

The Honoured Guest and after-Dinner speaker was the Most Rev. Lord Carey of Clifton, former Archbishop of Canterbury.
