The Club’s 2010 Christmas Dinner was held on Tuesday 24th December at Darwin College, University of Kent. President Robert and his wife Jenny welcomed the Guest of Honour, the Club’s Honorary Member fo Life; The Rt Rev and Rt Hon The Lord Carey of Clifton and Lady Carey.
One hundred and twenty guests sat down to a meal of a smoked salmon and prawn cocktail starter, this was followed by stuffed turkey escallope with pork and chestnut stuffing and the meal was rounded off with chocolate fondant pudding served with vanilla ice cream.
After the meal the diners enjoyed participating in singing carols and other traditional Christmas songs before listening the the address by Lord Carey.
