President Rosemary’s welcome!

‘Welcome to Rotary’ – this is how all members are greeted by the stewards at each meeting of the Rotary Club of Canterbury.

This greeting epitomises the atmosphere of a meeting – a friendly get-together of like-minded people, eager to promote fellowship and help others. There is a lunch or a dinner, then often a speaker from the Club, the community or someone to tell us about their experience of the world.
At the end, we toast ‘Rotary the World Over’ in recognition that we are part of a world-wide fellowship of Clubs, all with the same aims.

If you like this idea, do come and visit us. You will be welcomed.
