Duck travels: Ducks turning blue with the cold?

Brrrr. It’s so cold our little yellow ducks have been turning blue!

Well of course, not really, but it has reminded us of the little blue and brown ducks that went to visit HMS Victory at Portsmouth earlier in the year as part of commemorating the Battle of Trafalgar and the death of Nelson.

It seems that our little friends had a quacking time, and although pirates may have had ‘peg legs’ we’re happy to report we had no lame ducks!

We now wonder if their taste of the high seas will give them a taste for the more gentle waters of the River Stour when they can help us raise money in next year’s Rotary duck race. You’ll have to wait until next year to see (sea)!
