One of the cutest ducklings we’ve seen!

Our annual Duck Race isn’t just about raising funds for the local and international causes that we support – it’s also about putting on a sweet community event (this year, part of Canterbury’s Great Stour Riverfest) and giving families some fun. We were delighted to be sent pics of one of our winners by his happy mum. We think he fits the bill perfectly!

We love this picture that Lucy Quinton, mother of little Max Osborne, sent through to us (we’ll pop another picture of Max on his own on our social media accounts). Apparently Max dressed up especially for the occasion, which is very cute. Lucy sponsored a number of ducks ahead of the race and duck number 2119, bought in Max’s name, came in 4th! Well done Max! Lucy had requested a voucher for Whirligigs Toys and our Treasurer and Past President, Tony Loughran, was happy to oblige and drop the voucher off.
